Slumdog Millionaire Film Review
This film is definitely worth watching and rightly so deserved to win the Golden Globe for best film.
I see elements of ‘Forrest Gump‘ in this film i.e. the fact that amazing coincidental events happen to the main character but in this case the main character is aware of them and not as special as Forrest.
The storyline (without giving too much away) is about a young man who is up to the penultimate question on ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’ All the questions presented revolve around his extraordinary life and the the audience is made aware of how he knew the answer from earlier years. The last question is where the story comes full circle.
My two favorite scenes are the opening scene which is hilarious and the ending scene which could rival any half decent Bollywood offering.
